Code of Conduct

1. professionalism and courtesy

The founder undertakes to interact professionally and courteously with all
stakeholders, including start-up advisors, university members,
funding providers and other partners. This includes respectful
communication and constructive cooperation. Differing opinions and approaches
should be discussed in an open and respectful dialog in order to find the best possible
solutions.

2. flexibility and adaptability

The founder should be open to feedback and adjustments that may become necessary during
the start-up consultation. Flexibility is crucial in order to be able to react to
unexpected challenges or new requirements.

3. punctuality and reliability

Agreed dates and deadlines will be adhered to. If it is not possible to keep the appointment
or participate in an event, it must be canceled as soon as possible.

Expansion of funding project applications and support for funding projects:

1. transparency and honesty
All relevant information, including financial, organizational and personal
aspects that could be relevant for the start-up consultancy and/or funding project support,
must be presented transparently and honestly to the start-up consultant and (if applicable) the
funding providers. All information in the application and in the supplementary
documents must be correct and complete. Incorrect information may lead to the rejection of the
application or the reclaiming of funds

2. no double funding
The employees of the GründerCube must be informed before jointly applying for funding
whether other funding already exists for the project. It is prohibited without
agreement to apply for or use several grants for the same project at the same time,
without checking in advance whether this is permissible. The team must ensure that there is no
double funding that violates the guidelines of the funding providers. The
GründerCube is not responsible or liable for this.

3. early submission of documents when applying for the funding program
All required documents must be submitted in full to the start-up advisor at least 6 weeks before the official submission deadline
. This enables a thorough
review and any corrections/correction loops and additions to maximize the chances
of approval. The team undertakes to strictly adhere to agreed dates and deadlines
in order to avoid delays in the application process.

4. documentation and verification
All project-related activities, expenditure and progress must be carefully documented
and evidence provided on request. This facilitates reporting and auditing by the
funding bodies. Regular progress reports and final documentation
must be submitted on time to ensure compliance with the funding conditions. If
funding is approved, the founder undertakes to submit a brief report on whether the start-up still exists, how many
employees are employed and the company valuation two years after the end
of the funding.

5. consequences of violations
Violations of these rules can have serious consequences, including rejection
of the funding application, reclaiming of funds already received, exclusion from future
funding applications via the GründerCube and exclusion from all offers
and support services of the GründerCube
